One of the classic songs. I never played a guitar, but when my son got one he played this song, after he showed me how to hit the correct notes I played it for him. It blew him away. Once certain sounds are ingrain in ones head from music it is easy to play other instruments, a very good reason to learn piano first.

I think it has more to do with the decline of the record industry and the advent of digital music and streaming.  There's just so much out there right now it's hard for bands to get noticed or for consumers to find what they like.  Now if you're talking about what plays on the radio, yeah it's pretty much all shit.  But there are a hell of a lot of bands out there that are putting out some amazing stuff.
