Great stuff, Shiranu. Just when I was digging the 4th tune that 5th one hits me like old school goth but much tastier synths. I only have one analog synth, a Korg poly 800 I got new in college when I was in a very fun new-wave girl band. Maybe I need to grab something, there are so many now. SW synths are so great once I get the controllers set up that I have avoided more HW, but there is something fantastic about real analog HW and how the oscillators change with the air condition.

And now for something completely different (probably going to be very few people's cup of tea, to be honest)...

I mean honestly... it's just a really good fucking song, and I am excited to see if pop music continues to build off of that late 1990's - early 2000's music that I grew up on and makes something both relatable to my ears and new and exciting. I absolutely love the elements that are so familiar to me while at the same time bringing something new, refreshing, and unique to the table.

The last time I can remember pop music sounding like such a fusion of styles is honestly a decade ago, and I hope this is an indication that pop music will start to be more interested in "traditional" instruments over 808s and generic beats; preferably I would love to see more fusion of the two, because I honestly love both styles and want to see pop music be innovative again. Really excited about where it goes from here.

...And if pop music reached back even a little further for inspiration, that would be OK.
