Some conspiracy nuts are skeptical that the "powers that be" will do anything about their pet issue, hence the conspiracy charge. Whether they are "actually skeptical" or not I wouldn't hazard a call unless I knew more about the case.

And record the use duration so that it's replaced at the proper time as outlined in the ToS, as everyone does.  Overwearing socks is a very serious crime.
