Until it is confirmed by controlled observation or experiment, and repeated ... it is a hypothesis, aka something made up.  And most hypotheses stay that way, but a few manage to dodge the meter maid and get free parking.

Not a belief, oh broken record.  I don't believe in demigods, I are one.  A universal deity is more speculative, metaphysically.  But no one here would be interested, and I am still working on it (see Judeo-Islamic Middle Ages).  Still working ... I do some work on that project each weekend.

Honestly, I was never good at geography. If you pointed to a random state in America, I couldn't even tell you what it was (unless you happened to pick Texas). But this guy can't seem to get the idea that Africa is a continent, not a country.
