As a boy, I liked lizards too.  Had a few as pets.  But my baby alligator was taxidermy.  Here is the guy with the big monitor lizard ...

I'd hug an Alligator if I knew it wouldn't try to bite me.

That's the thing, though. Reptile brains are different from mammalian brains. They have no capacity for emotional connection. At best, they may see you as a source of food they don't have to work for. These things will tear the arm off of one of their own for no reason. I wouldn't trust these giant lizards. Heck, even wild mammals might attack you if you look at them the wrong way.

Correct.  A woman model got her face bit off, by a lion, during an advertising shoot.  Guess the cat didn't like Chanel #5.  Also reptiles want you for an effortless body heat.  Or is that cats? ;-)

I wonder how much bigger Wally the 'gator will get? Will the guy still be walking him into public when he's 15 or 20 feet long?

There is a couple with an alligator in the basement in Minnesota, who is so large, he can't get out of the basement.  Fortunately they can keep throwing Elvis imitators down there to keep him fed!

They should double down.  Crocodiles are twice as big at maturity.

Wally would have outlived him. The dude was old already and Wally was just getting started.

You don't have to be fat to be out of shape. And it's absurdist humor.

Yeah, but it's not the mouse that is infesting the WH.
