I have direct experience of the physical interaction of cars and motorcycles. I have been in a motorcycle accident and have cleaned up after a few as a firefighter. my conclusions:

Wear a helmet is a big one. I don't understand how someone would put looking "cool" over their safety. It doesn't matter how good of a rider you are, if a car hits you on the road, you're done.
