This is talked about in so many states but not cut up in 6 parts. Notice the "rich" state, and the "poor" state?

Idiot.

Good luck buddy.. After the feds are forced to put an end to your insurrection fantasy there won't be much left to divide.
All hail my new signature!

Admit it. You're secretly green with envy.

This won't fly for several reasons.  For starters, it would mean at least an additional 10 democratic senators.  Think the repubs in congress will approve that?

Republicans don't matter, Democrats don't matter. Every single state, Congress, and the president would have to approve it. Even if Californians said YES! emphatically, the approval process is a bitch.

Also the reason why secession would never happen; it's virtually impossible. Once someone joins, you can never leave.

http://minnesota.cbslocal.com/2012/11/14/good-question-can-a-state-secede-from-the-union/

QuoteBut can a state really secede from the United States?
“The simple answer is no,” said professor Rob Vischer, the incoming Dean of the University of St. Thomas School of Law. “The Constitution does not address the question, but the Supreme Court has consistently interpreted the Constitution to have created a union that is in their words, indestructible.”
There is a history of secession in the United States. South Carolina pulled out of the union and started the Civil War in 1861. Texas seceded twice: first from Mexico, then again to join the Confederacy.
“The Civil War made plain that when it comes to secession, it’s really going to be about brute force,” Vischer said.
Practically speaking, allowing states to secede according to political whim would be chaotic, he said.
“There are certain background premises that make our system of government possible, and one of them is the union is permanent,” Vischer said.

So apparently a billionaire didn't do his womework, or maybe he's into some really good Crack. Hard to say.

That's talking about secession, he's not talking secession, he's talking about creating new states out of existing states. His problem is he's asking for 6 (5) new states, which means 6 new constitutions, and a continuous headache for Congress; they already have enough to do of doing almost nothing to add on to it.

Puerto Rico has a better chance of becoming a state than an already existing state being able to split up like Virginia did during the Civil War (which was the last time it happened).

YATPF.. Yet Another Tea Party Fantasy.. I really wish the fuckers actually had the balls to try firing on a federal installation and attempt any insurrection other than their Bundy ranch nonsense because it would make the news a hell of a more interesting to watch the army rounding up the crazy fucks and even arrest them on the floor of the US house of representatives and drag them off to federal prison..

It may not be secession per se, but much of the logic applies. 6 states with new state governments, new representatives and constitutions. Personally I think he is just an egotistical dick that let his success get to his head.
