Science doesn't give a damn about religions, because "damns" are not measurable units and therefore have no place in research. As soon as it's possible to detect damns, we'll quantize perdition and number all the levels of hell. Until then, science doesn't care.

"Agnostic" what?

I think you are far too used to the common definition. Knowing the actual history of the word and those of theist and atheist might help you properly define yourself.

The word "agnostic" is a horribly cobbled together word invented by Thomas Huxley.

"a"=without "gnostic"=knowledge. That says nothing about what you claim not to have knowledge of. It is not a stand alone position, it is a qualifying word.

1. Agnostic theist=Is someone who leans to a deity existing but does not claim to know for sure.

2. "agnostic atheist"= Does not hold any god claims to be true, but also does not claim absolute 100% knowledge.

The problem with "agnostic" that Huxley and those who improperly use the word never take into account is the time frame issue of past, current, and future.

I am an outright atheist in all past and current claims. Not only do I not hold a god claim to be true, I am certain that all past and current claims so far are bunk. I am strictly semantically and technically "agnostic" about the future, although even with that I find the "possibility" of any god claim being proven to be true fleetingly unlikely and not worth considering.

Welcome in any case.
