Hello. I'm 24 and have been an atheist since probably middle school. Logic and elementary school science class is allot that started me being a skeptic. High school I then got internet access in my home which of course lead to research. Looked endlessly for evidence of god but just found myself going the other way. Today I feel 100% certain that there is no god. I really do not understand how people can even believe, to the point it frustrates me even when family and friends defend christianity.

Me too.  And what's weird is that as a former Christian, I should be able to understand why people believe, but I don't.  Even with that previous experience, people's beliefs are more mind boggling to me than ever.

I understand what it's like to be a christian and I think fear is the number one reason people continue to believe. The fear of hell is a powerful thing. Especially if it was drilled into you.

I hate when christians threaten with hell it's so terroristic and they can't see it.

Always tell little children about the pain and misery of burning forever in Hell.  Then tell them that if a bad thought creeps into their head, they go there.  This is considered excellent parenting.  Little children need to know this stuff.
