Teach Me About Atheism

So teach me about Atheism and what it means to live in a universe with no god necessary. What is the nature of reality to an Atheist?

First thing you have to understand is that if you ask 10 atheists you'll get 10 answers.

As for me, you may have noted that I rarely, if ever, self-identify as an atheist. As aitm said of himself, "atheist" is a label others usually apply to me due to my lacking belief in any gods. I don't think of myself as an atheist anymore than I think of myself as an a-golfer, though.

If forced to identify as any ideology, I'd probably say I was a secular humanist pr a utilitarian, depending on what mood I'm in. Those are a different conversation, though, and I'll not get into details unless asked.
