It's always nice to be the insurance rep in charge of the claim for the responsible driver, to then have to talk to those involved and essentially pay somebody for the loss of a loved one. Been there, done that.

I learned that lesson early in life. Police don't like having to chase you down.  They tend to beat the crap out of you for that.
