We'd stop whining if the church would follow it's own doctrine and looked at the log in their own eyes before the specks of dust in those of others. Considering how many straight catholic people engage in anal sex just to get around the restriction that they cannot have sex before marriage, I'd say there's more important groups to focus on than homosexuals.

But of course religions and their members only complains about rules that don't affect them personally, because rules are for other people.

And where did this wisdom come from? Like priest that are pedophiles and all that are non procreative? There is nothing more unnatural than a priest that doesn't have sex, or with young girls and boys, when their urges get beyond control. The Wisdom comes from the Bible. The Catholic Church does not condone pedophilia officially.  We have done a bunch of stupid crap indeed when it comes to solving that problem.  In the 80's and before the medical profession thought pedophilia was "curable."  A local hospital held a  "treatment group" that existed of trying to test who would repeat their offences by hooking up the guy to some device that could detect erections and then showing them kiddie porn.  If he could look at kiddie porn without an erection then he was pronounced cured.
Treatment programs abounded and the few that were caught were silently sent off to treatment programs.  Given the recidivism rate obviously they realize now that cannot or to this date cannot cure pedophilia.

Problem is they tell you they were born that way and can't help it thus you have NAMBLA whining about more tolerance for man boy love with consenting boys at whatever age they believe consent can be made without legal repercussions.  Should we allow that because they were "born that way" or is this homosexuality?

Are you saying someone can't voluntarily abstain from sex?  Why not? Just because you can't doesn't mean others can't.
