hey, i'm Mitch. I consider myself to be muslim (one who submits to god). I joined here to include myself in the discussions of this forum, to talk about religion in the most unbias way I can. I love to talk about all religious concepts, regardless of origin. XD

I always wanted to ask two questions from a mu$l!m without getting my head chopped off. :-&
 Maybe you can answer them

1) Why must we pray to The God. What do we gain from asskissing anyway?

2) Why do you believe in an entity which will throw you into hell for praying to a wrong god? or praying to right god but including some other person or entity with it?

First id like to say that Muslim means "One who submits to god's will"
Its wrong to ascribe immoral actions such as terrorism and violence to a group of people who simply belief in God (The moneyed media doesn't help this -.-). Many "Muslims" (not really believers if they are violently natured) have failed to understand that holy way was exactly what it meant "Just War (A war of morals)". Do those who have killed innocents without purpose represent the belief in god as a whole?

Now to answer your questions

You don't have to choose to pray to god, if you don't desire to. You have every right not to. You have freewill (sort of). Since we are basically his collective manifestation of knowledge, We reflect his perfected will (True Freewill, able to do anything). That is why we have freewill (His will is projected through us). A more difficult thing to understand: Our freewill constitutes his will, therefore we have no actual freewill at all. True Will (Pure Desire, without the limitations of material life) is obtained after death based on the actions of this life..So you can choose not to follow him, and that will be your choice..god isn't limiting you at all in this life if you choose not to follow him. You will only be limited in the hereafter, based on your performance. If you follow the straight path (making good decisions in the name of god), there will be less restrictions placed on you in the afterlife.

Actually almost all forms of prayer are good. All objects are his, so it doesn't really matter what you pray to. But if you are praying without belief (faith) and praying for desire or want, then the prayers are ineffective. All thoughts are heard. Prayers with carnal desire do not succeed. Praying for good must be followed by good action. You expect an all-encompassing, self-subsisting, omniscient god to bow to your will? And hell is only a place for those who completely deny him to the day they die, and beyond. Anyone who fails to see god in this life, will certainly fail to see him in the next.

You, just like Christian apologists are being disingenuous when you say it is a moral law you are talking about. Explain how this is so with just these quotes from your Holy Book?

1.Don't bother warning the disbelievers. Allah has made it impossible for them to believe so that he can torture them forever after they die. 2:6-7

262.Those who do not believe Allah's revelations will face doom in the Hereafter. 20:127

Also you brought in many quotes relating to fear. The Quran was written as a just guideline. It contains verses of fear, and verses of love. All the verses are outweighed by another. For example number 5 is stating that Allah cannot have a son because there is no equal to him, not that he cannot do anything.
Number 10 is saying to spend in the way off Allah because money doesn't have any value in the afterlife...so the fee is the same as giving freely.
In number 2, notice how Allah says "Strong drink" for the alcohol one..meaning that alcohol has good and bad effects depending on how drunk you are.
I could go on and on about the invalidity of the skeptics statements. They are simply looking at the verses from a negative perspective, attempting to point out holes that don't exist. That is because they want to rationalize their beliefs, like all humans do. How can we rationalize a world that is irrational by nature? Things don't always happen according to laws.
