But, if you set out food you might get some on your porch. :) I have a couple that come some nights for leftover cat food. I get an occasional opossum, too.

I read about someone who started feeding a few raccoons. It turned into 70 raccoons, and she was spending thousands of dollars on dog food for them, and she ended up calling animal control officers to take them away. The couple of raccoons that you are feeding now will breed, and teach their offspring that there is free food at your house.
