Hey everyone.  I'm Jon.  I'm from Boston, MA.  I was raised Catholic, but religion was never stressed as being important as I was growing up.  You could say I officially stopped identifying as a Catholic once I learned I had a gay aunt and at that time, the church were very much Against That.  I'm currently working on my PhD in English.*

I'm here because....well, because I want to be able to discuss things with open minded people.
