hahaha where do i start!? arguing with a theist is like arguing with a retarded child, and i don't mean this in an offensive way its just how i really have come to feel. some of the dumb things i have heard goes from "there is no way evolution is real cause my granddad wasn't a monkey." i would say something like "well of course not, we didn't evolve from monkeys since monkeys are still around but we share a common ancestor." :)   Of-course only to be greeted with a look of distaste and unwillingness to understand or even think about what they are told they continue to say things like, "oh well there is no proof for evolution science makes mistakes!! evolution cant be real".(dont even get me started on that statement.) Now also, I skimmed through the other posts and saw some other things i have heard people say too, like "science is a religion" and the entire free will argument by god, i once gotten into a debate with a theist, where we got into a free will argument. If god is all knowing all powerful, created everything the way it is and knows everything that is going to happen.... where in the world is there room for free will, then i was greeted with another witty response "yes but god made man and gave them freewill, god can make freewill" i said something like "if god made freewill, does that mean he doesn't know what a person will do with their free will, what choices they will make? and if he doesn't know wont that make him no longer all powerful and knowing and if he does know what an individual will do and he made that person that way doesn't that mean there is no free will?" and the theist replies with something that blew my mind "No see its hard to explain no one can understand god he works in mysterious ways! god made humans with free will so they can experience it" and of course i was blown away by the ignorance and unwillingness to see reason or think logically even for a second, most theist are unwilling to question this notion of god the almighty.  This entire mentality of a theist is the dumbest thing i can think of not just what they say but the unwillingness to question what they have been told and to be skeptical..,

Similar to one I heard.  "God is so powerful that he could have created everything even if he didn't exist."

One that always makes me smile, because it's a theistic condemnation of theists, is "If God didn't exist, Christians would be terrible people, robbing and killing."  I guess that one didn't notice that most robbers and killers in the US are Christians.

They also ignore the children who are molested, raped, and abused by Christians, and the wars and murders committed in God's name, and the many other crimes committed by Christians. If some of them do these things even with Jesus and God in their lives, then I see no advantage to anyone to being a believer.
