We all know and understand, that for the last few thousand years religious leaders had no desire or want for their followers to actually read the babble. They needed to control the narrative and perception of this loving god of theirs.

Now with the MAGA minions blatantly ignoring and misconstruing the basic tenants of their religion they are increasingly calling them out for their biblical literacy....or lack there of.

I find this rather hilarious, though obviously necessary in today's hateful rhetoric of the publican party.

Their quandary is they also understand that knowing more about the babble will lead to a whole other level of questioning by first time readers. It is a "damned if I do, damned if I don't" quandary that I find father delightful.

Obviously outcomes are MAGA just abandoning religion as being to goddamn "woke" after two centuries of being woke, or perhaps coming to the realization they are wrong and coming "back to the church". What's your guess?
A humans desire to live is exceeded only by their willingness to die for another. Even god cannot equal this magnificent sacrifice. No god has the right to judge them.-first tenant of the Panotheust

I was stopped cold from going down the religion path when I was asked to leave Sunday School for asking where Noah's grandkids got their spouses. But accidental move of my life.
We 'new atheists' have a reputation for being militant, but make no mistake  we didn't start this war. If you want to place blame put it on the the religious zealots who have been poisoning the minds of the  young for a long long time."

A democracy requires an educated citizenry. Cults like MAGA and Christianity are anti-democratic. We got nothing to work with here.

Theocratic governments have horrible civil rights records on the whole.
