Yea. I realized that it contradited it'self, but I had to throw out some logic in order to play by theist rules and come up with that.

That's why I think (hypothetically) god did this:

Damn. Late to the party again.

It's already been pointed out that love based on shared humanity and cohesion is superior to a "love because I say so." That being could just as easily say "hate because I say so..." wwwwwhich he does. So I've got just one thing to ask:

Can you point out to us where in the Bible it actually says that Jesus loves us?
Because LaPlace still holds sway.

You just made me feel bad about love... Which is a considerable accomplishment... Interesting video you posted by the way.....

What do you think of dinosaur fossils ? Has man lived with dinosaurs ?

Yes, man lived with dinosaurs.  They were wiped out in the flood and couldn't adapt after they came off the ark when the flood was over.  That is my Biblical reasoning.  I don't have time to go into depth but it can be Googled.  It is interesting to me that birds have been found to be the closest ancestor to dinosaurs and that they were the only things that could fly to avoid the flood.

So, the Flinstsones were pre-flood... Ok. I got it.

Quote from: "JesusIsKing"Even though you are atheists here for the most part and as much as it pains me to say it.... I love you all.  Because Jesus Christ does.  And the Holy Spirit resides in anyone who accepts Jesus Christ.  Only true believers will understand that amazing spiritual feeling.

Wow, that was impressive. And by "impressive" I mean boringly mundane.

Oh and look up "true Scotsman" fallacy.

Now, in your quote, everywhere you typed "Jesus" replace it with "Allah" or "Vishnu" or "Mickey Mouse" and see if you would buy your own earth shattering argument if someone with another pet god were using the same argument.

I don't love Christians. I sort of pity them.

In what context? I love people who have religious beliefs. But that does not mean I value their claims. I love my mom to no end. But I do think it is a pity that she values the idea of communion which is symbolized cannibalism.

I pity our species in the collective sense that we have not gotten a good hold on the importance of reality vs going with what feels good. I hate religion AS A CONCEPT as a CLAIM. But I do not hate humans merely because they might say something that may make me want to pull my hair out.

I cant hate human rights, I can hate the claims humans may make, even if I don't hate them personally.

Pity and hate are too completely different emotions; not even opposite ends of the spectrum, rather on completely different spectrum all together.

I've been away.   Are we still "loved"?   Cause that's kinda funny.
