Harris snags an endorsement from George W Bush......'s daughter  *subdued fanfare*

George W Bush wasn't available due to some sort of medical issue.  Apparently, someone misplaced his spine.

How about Romney?  He's famous for his (non)handling of another Republican who insisted that Republican candidates for President should be Christian, since after all, it is a church office /s

He bravely responded by saying that the Presidency is a secular office, any American who meets the age requirement can run by law, and that for the government to be truly representative - it should be as diverse as its people.

Just kidding, he kept the religious requirement - bizarrely agreeing with the bigot's logic - and just amended it to "person of faith" to let himself in.  And then he failed to win the Presidency and watched in horror as the Republican party - that shining beacon of open-mindedness in his previous encounter - degenerate into Trump's private fanclub.

Yeah, his lips are sealed.

No biggie, just make or break time for the Republic.

Trump imagines MTG blowing up in order to fearmonger about electric vehicles

Soo...where are we at in terms of dementia?  Is there some sort of Richter Scale or something?  This isn't the same guy who ran in 2016.  This guy really struggles to convey thoughts that never even had any value at all.  It's like asking someone what 2 plus 2 and he just smashes his head into a wall.  I can't even argue against that, I just have to back up slowly.

Quote"I won't say...," Trump sniggered as he cut off his tale. "We love her. Stand up Marjorie, stand up."
Jeez, and he said that right in front of her?!  Fantasizes about her dying gruesomely, communicated that to the world, and right in front of her to boot.  Yikes.

Trump's Promise to Young Men: I Am Your Retribution Against Women

Lotta incel energy at that rally.  I guess it's just mask off time with this guy.

QuoteA mid-October poll by Fairleigh Dickinson University found that Trump's appeal is rooted in voters' perceptions of his masculinity. While Harris leads Trump by three points in the national survey, 41 percent of likely voters say that Trump is "completely masculine," a view Daniel Cassino, the executive director of the poll, said is central to Trump's support. Notably, 68 percent of Republicans describe Trump that way, but just 14 percent of Democrats do.

QuoteIronically, Flood says, Trump embodies the very "feminine" qualities he disparages: He's highly emotional, throws tantrums, and gets his feelings hurt easily. As retired pro wrestler Dave Bautista said recently in a brutal takedown for Jimmy Kimmel's show, "Look at him: He wears more makeup than Dolly Parton.... The guy's afraid of birds.... The guy's barely strong enough to hold an umbrella.... He's got jugs—big ones, like Dolly Parton.... You know that dance he does? He looks like he's jacking off a pair of giraffes."

Arnold Schwarzenegger Endorses Kamala Harris

He put out a novel-length post on Twitter about it, but the cliff notes' version is essentially that even though he's not a fan of either party right now, he favors Harris over Trump.

Florida teen with machete arrested for voter intimidation at polling place

QuoteAn 18-year-old was arrested outside a Florida polling location Tuesday after police said he wielded a machete in order to intimidate voters.

Caleb James Williams faces charges of aggravated assaulted on a person 65 years of age or older and improper exhibition of a firearm or dangerous weapon.

In a press conference after the arrest, Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael J. Key said Williams "brandished a machete in an aggressive, threatening posture over his head" at two women, ages 71 and 54.

Williams was accompanied by seven other male teens, ages 16 and 17, who police said went to the Beaches Branch Library "to protest and antagonize the opposing political side."
"antagonize the opposing political side" is certainly one way to put it.  Intimidate voters.  Disturb and disrupt democracy in action.  Threatening/using violence against civilians in pursuit of a  political goal - that's basically the FBI definition of terrorism right there.

So let's play my least favorite game: Guess the political affiliation!

(it's like Jeopardy! but instead of answering trivia answers with a question, it's trying to keep both yourself and American democracy alive in the midst of rancid corruption in the halls of power and thuggery in the streets)

Need a hint?

QuoteSome of the juveniles had Donald Trump flags, while the two victims were holding Kamala Harris signs. Key said Williams "decided to brandish the machete over his head."

I'm sure they will all grow to be fine well established young men after this.  Nothing says compromise like wielding a machete at a voting place.

Not really, Just go look at "Florida Man" memes. 😵💫

Anyone else hoping it's a blowout in the first hours of the election?  I can't stand the thought of things not going this direction early.  If they do start out this way, it's over for Donny.

That won't stop him or his MAGAts from stamping their feet and contesting the results. This shit ain't over until (maybe then) the chump is dead.

On Fridays the Mark Thompson Show on YouTube has a segment called Friday Fabulous Florida, about stupid people in Florida doing stupid stuff! 🤣
It's funny as hell, and a good distraction from all of the political bs that they talk about the rest of the time.

Remember when these MAGA idiots thought that JFK was going to rise from the dead to legitimize Trump's victory? lol

I'm glad I'm not so ignorant as to be lead around by the nose by cult personalities.

It's kind of a longshot, but I'm hoping on at least one battleground being handedly won by Harris.  Lots of early voters and there are significantly more women early voting than men.
