It's hard to gauge the magnitude of any anti-conservative reaction at this point. We live in contained media bubbles.

I had to laugh at the Minnesota based Somali community whose many conservative members are somehow shocked at the recent betrayal. They clearly don't understand that skin tone overrides ideology every time. Sure, like many Latino conservatives they share homophobia and disdain for us atheists, so they thought they were in the club.

Some of these people actually thought their Trump vote is some sort of check mark on a visa. I'll hold the exit door for all these fools that helped swing the election.

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the first thing they do is ask them what they are doing. This may no longer be the case.

When I was sailing and the Navy was training near by, they would broadcast over the radio and loud speakers to stay away from their ship. I think it was the skipper, because he would say, "Stay away from MY ship!" As a courtesy, they didn't sink your boat before you were warned.

If only we had some sort of government agency tasked with protecting the coast.  A coast guardian, if you will.

The protocol is for the suspect craft to  heave to and allow an inspection party to come aboard. That's the rules pretty much every where I've been and I've seen me some sea water.

If you run from the cops on land you can wind up being shot. If you run from the cops at sea you can wind up being shot. Drug runners have known this for years, most often from having their boats not make it to Estados Unidos.

It's a start:  Minneapolis police chief warns officers to stop unlawful force by ICE or lose your job

"If unlawful force is being used by any law enforcement officer against any person in this city and one of our officers is there, absolutely, I expect them to intervene, or they'll be fired," O'Hara said when asked how his officers should respond to excessive force by ICE agents.

O'Hara noted that cases of "excessive" force that were "readily apparent" would merit officer intervention. A sergeant from O'Hara's department later clarified that while Minneapolis Police Department officers may physically intervene in the case of unlawful force, they would stop short of arresting ICE agents.

Why not?  No warrant, no ID, that's indistinguishable from kidnapping.

In response to O'Hara's warning, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin told MS NOW, "Does [O'Hara] want his officers to intervene as our law enforcement arrests the convicted murderers, rapists, and gang members, which have been arrested in Minneapolis' streets over the last 48 hours?"

Going after rapists, is that so?  Well, start at the White House first and work your way down.  Drop the fake tough on crime angle because everyone knows you don't mean it.
