Columbo:  Just one last thing.  Why are you worried about jail time?

'Many people are coming to me and saying sir - cake is food - possibly the best food ever when you don't have food.'  (Sorry... Donald's inner thoughts took over may brain for a moment there.)

JD Vance is testing the waters or a 2028 presidential run. I think he will be a tough opponent. While he backs Trump's bullshit with puppy dog loyalty, he's more far more eloquent in it's articulation. He scares me. It's hard to believe supporting Trump would be a winning strategy at this point, and I don't think it is. But a lot of things in politics are hard to believe.

I heard that Nick Fuentes will oppose Vance in his run for the Evil Office at every turn.

Which is the the more convincing? Not that I'm considering either one of them, but now that I'm thinking about this, any republican may be an improvement over Trump's chaos.

I don't think it's the melon felon's chaos, I think it's Stephen Miller's chaos. In which case it may continue no matter which Republican gets in.

My prediction for the future is just to ask myself, "What's the dumbest possible thing people could do?" And that's probably what they'll do.

Miller may be some kind of mastermind behind Trump, and he no doubt carries a lot of weight in the Republican party. But much of Trump's chaos is so "TRUMP," It's just "Trump stupid!" It's the work of a five year old with wrecking ball and a grudge. I don't think a person with his head screwed on straight could come up with half of what Trump does, which I think he does on his own.

Republicans lost the last election because they were Trump loyalists, who are far more intelligent than Trump, but played his hand for fear of retribution. Maybe I'm weighting chaos too much in the last election, but I think people were sick of the chaos. Would Miller be the puppeteer that would cause the main player to do that to the party? I don't know. He's probably a better chess player than I am, which admittedly is not saying much.

I'm still giving Trump credit for the chaos, but it seems the media, for what it's worth, is also giving that credit to Trump. This Blue Wave thing is as much an interesting phenomenon to me as it a joyful event, but not convincing of a joyfully sustainable new direction.

He's been doing nothing but run up the debt since he took office, both times.  In fact, he did this same song and dance about 8 years ago with exactly zero follow-through and the dumb-dums still get fooled.  Watch the feet.

And his thing about "almost" zero inflation and "most respected" country is such bullshit that I genuinely think a lot of this might actually be dementia rather than Trump's normal truth-by-fiat modus operandi (translation for redhatters cause I know you guys can't read: he's lying to you so bad and so often that you eventually cave in and believe him)

"A dividend of a least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone."
What does that even mean? High income people will get $200,000? or High income people will get nothing? Yeah right, I won't be waiting for that to happen.

I ain't holdin' my breath neither.

High income people will get what they want, as ever. It's not solely a T.rump thing.
