I see where Felon Musk's car sales are dropping. Funny, all the blue-leaning people buying them "to save the planet" don't like him enough to pass on one of those things. Quelle surprise.

From what I understand, Teslas aren't even good. They're overpriced and low quality. Not to mention, if something goes wrong (which it will), you have to find someone specifically certified to work on Teslas to fix it. Other companies make better electric/hybrid vehicles for a better price.

Until Teslas are mandatory, that is.

I don't know anything about the quality of Tesla. Musk was a kind of pioneer, but other companies are joining in, and where there's competition, prices will come down, and can lead to improvement. I'm getting the feeling Musk is losing interest in the concept, and I'm not sure what joining forces with Trump does knowing Trump's commitment to the browning of the environment. Maybe he's throwing in the towel for something bigger.

Don't forget that insurance is often higher (sure, you can buy Tesla brand insurance, but good luck with those premiums) and infamously, often doesn't pass the carrot test, while their competitors do.  (Fun fact, as a kid, I actually did get my hand stuck in a van door when someone unexpectedly slammed it shut, so this is a thing that does happen on occasion)

To be fair, Tesla has updated it since (apparently, the customers are the Q&A team)

I suppose it is technically true that Tesla owners no longer risk getting appendages cut off, but jeez, that still looked painful.

And now the profit goes to fund some weird middle-age crisis and mental breakdown turned into political power-grabbing and flirting with decidedly dated German politics?  Hellll Noooo.  I'd rather buy a 3-wheeled car than a Tesla.

[Sticks in carrot. It gets cut up.]

"Okay. That didn't work. But now, let's see what happens when I stick in my actual finger. AAAHHHHHH!"

These people vote.

For the first time ever I've finally seen someone wearing a red MAGA hat!
It's just some old guy in my doctor's office. Of course, I'm not gonna say anything at all to the guy, I'm just surprised I haven't seen one before.

Missouri here. See them everywhere. Presumably they're under those pointy white hoods as well.

Quote"I've never seen anything like this in my 55 years," says Beth Pratt, a regional executive director for the National Wildlife Federation, who lives near Yosemite and is working on a book called "Yosemite Wildlife." "Just to want to gut the Park Service? I don't understand it."
So long as the donor class has all its needs met, Trump has no problem with screwing over everyone else.

Warming up for "Damnation Alley II", the live action epic?

I hope the FAUXTUS doesn't intend to steal all of the federal land that he now has at his disposal.
