New study finds 1/3 of Gen Z supports in-home surveillance

So, the article has old people saying "liberty and freedom" over and over until it loses all meaning, but I don't think that's what's going on here.

What we have is, at least, two generations who have grown up online and thus don't feel the same we older folk about having big brother watching us. They're used to the whole world watching them all the time and kind of enjoy it. So they don't mind the government setting up surveillance inside their homes,... until those ripped DVDs are discovered, I guess. I think the newer generations don't value privacy as much as they should and will live to regret it.
