It's not. I suffered from it all my life. People don't understand or can't follow you and it is very frustrating. Esp. when you are young. You try to compensate, it becomes worse. You can't set it to a 'normal' level and when you try to slow down it becomes weird and too slow sometimes. It sucks.

Ben Shapiro is the current record holder in fast talking ;-)  But I have heard auction callers talk faster but I experience that as speed-mumbling.
