I used to play MTG, but these days I play Eternal. It's a f2p game made by some of the same behind MTG, and very generous about giving you packs.

I'm definitely keen on trying out Ashes of the Singularity, but never got around to it.  It's still on my wishlist, though.

Played Civ2 again at lowest level and struggled.  Played the next level and struggled.  Played the next at the middle level and struggled.  Playing the 4th level and beating the AI completely.   It's good to play carefully and remember some of the old tricks.  I hope to get to Deity Level again...

I got the bundle for Niche. A strategy game based on population genetics? That sounds really cool and unique. The developers say they had Spore as part of their inspiration, which is one game I actually wish EA would make a sequel for. But I guess they don't want to put that much work into a single player game.

Spore was a great idea that really suffered in development until what we got was so far removed from the original idea that it's laughable.  They didn't even keep flying or swimming.

Yeah... It's a real shame the game didn't live up to its potential. I can still have fun with the game, but it feels like the game could have been so much more. Why hasn't any other developer tried to fill Spore's shoes?
