New topic:  most MMORPGs are either tailored for sociopaths or make you a sociopath.

Rift.  I got a quest to harvest chicken wings for a quest-giver.  There are a bunch of little chicks walking around inexplicably lit bonfires in the middle of the desert.  I try to punt one of the lil' bastards into the flames.  Darn, missed.  Then the little bastard walks directly into the flames and instantly char-broils itself.  Like some sort of chickeny hari-kari.  5 times I cast the little ones into the flames so I could bring a hot meal to some guy I don't even know so he'll give me some xp and cash.

I mount up on a rhino-like beast and trample a bunch of these bug-humanoid things.  Ostensibly, it's to protect the territory from bug encroachment, but really, I just love their reactions to being trampled to death.  It's funny to me.  I overdo it a little bit and run over 18 instead of 10.

I see a tigress with two cubs.  Headshot the cubs, pop a shield, and skin both of 'em right there as the mother ineffectually swipes at my face.  Then I just walk away.  There's no quest for the cubs, it's just something I like to do.

I send my pet into suicidal situations with the express purpose of it buying just enough time for me to escape certain death.  Doesn't matter if it dies, I'll just insta-summon another one in some sort of endless parade of clones.  Or maybe it's the same one, just back from hell in an endless cycle of pain and death.  I honestly couldn't care less.

I have this huge, amazing world stretching out in front of me and almost all I ever do is massacre and plunder it.  And I'm not remorseful in the slightest.  I'd close a toddler rift if it gave good loot.

I want to see if Gauntlet gets a good review.  I really loved Gauntlet II and even liked it a bit on N64, though it was in that weird phase where 3D games were still horrible on the eyes.

I looked at that. It looked like a dull, brown version of Torchlight.

I see Gauntlet as the proto-diablo, with it's variety of monsters and monster generators, upgrades and colour coded keys. It's bland repetitive gameplay by today's standards, but a landmark game nonetheless.

If you really love Fallout 1 and 2, I can see the appeal.  It's doing okay on Metacritic, so it can't be that bad.  Still, I'd demo it first.

Anybody here likes to watch game-reviews on youtube? If so, we could use your advice.
I promise not to make a habit out of posting these on AF. But if anyone has any pointers for our future gaming clips, we'd really very much appreciate them. I feel like this is our biggest and best clip yet, we worked on it for weeks, but it is obviously flawed. Any critique is welcome guys!

All I know about PS1 stuff is that PSN-PS4 will have the libraries from the first three on it

I thought Sony ended that backwards compatibility after ps2, at least for ps1. Was I wrong? That backwards compatibility is actually what got me to buy a ps2.

No, it won't take disks, but they're making a digital download feature, like Steam

I'm pretty sure you could use a ps2 emulator (PCSX2) Otherwise if it doesn't work, you could use PCSX
