YMIR, it might be a little easier for us to suggest games for you if you tell us your platform and what notable games you have for it, otherwise we'll run out of freeware games quickly and have to resort to Newgrounds or something.

My recommendation is if you feel bored or in the dreaded i-wanna-play-but-i-feel-blah mood, either play a really low-stress game like Bejeweled or something or watch a replay of your favorite RTS.  Usually puts me in a much better mood.

Go for one with lots of seeds and generally positive comments and scan the hell out of it after you download.

I tried Company of Heroes 2 and I don't wanna be a negative nelly but it was kinda bad.  It's basically an updated version of Company of Heroes that isn't quite as good as Company of Heroes.  5/10 tops.

New "features":
* Frostbite mechanic - troops freeze and die frequently.  Don't worry, your engineers can build fire pits to heat up everyone in a 1ft radius.  One of two things will happen:  they'll freeze to death 2 feet away from a fire pit because you forgot to tell them to scamper back to it after building/repairing something or one of your own tanks will accidentally run it over and they'll freeze to death.
* Arcane levelup/general system.  I have no idea what's going on there.
* Very low pop cap.

Ingame memories:  shooting nearly-destroyed buildings with tanks who apparently graduated from the stormtrooper school of marksmanship for 5-minutes before realizing that HQ buildings can't actually be destroyed, stuff inexplicably blowing up, blinking icons everywhere, annihilating seemingly endless hordes of enemy infantry backed up by a sizable amount of vehicles only to get bogged down and pushed back, calling in airstrikes and watching AI teammates suicidally rush to the killzone, watching AI teammates park their entire army in my forward base as my army fights and dies.

You won't find any objection from me. The majority of games my friends like are ones I can't stand, so I get crap over my opinions all the time. I mean, is it soooo weird that I prefer Arkham Asylum over Arkham City? Really?
