Anyone any experience with the Xbox one ?

Played it at a target, the console itself is quite large, pretty heavy too. The controller doesn't feel as good as the 360 control, but it seems okay, haven't played the PS so I can't give a fair judgment, still holding my money until around January

I just got Bioshock Infinite yesterday. I thought I was only going to play 20 min, then get back to work, but it was more like 5 hrs and then I realized it was 6 in the morning...

And I finally understand the reference to Shiranu's signature!!!  :-D  "Bring us the girl and wipe away the debt."

I could never get into bioshock, even though I thought it looked cool way back when.

I do think I'll play the new battlefield and Destiny when I finally get a console, but until then I'm game dry :/

Even thought of playing wow again, but I can't because my stalker is still stalking my account and I don't want to make a new one.

The games  look and sound  much better ? I hear most Xbox one games run in 720p resolution . Most playstation 4 games run in 1080p resolution .

yeah, the PS4 has 1080p compared to the 720p of the xbox, so it clearly has better graphical potential and hardware, however I have heard that xbox live is better than the PS network for PS4.

Either way, the libraries aren't large enough just yet for me to buy either one, and I also want the initial broken ones to get bought up before I buy mine

Gameplay: Meh. But you don't buy a Bioshock for gameplay imo.

Story wise; one of my favourites that I can remember. Loved the characters, loved the story, loved all the dark shit that was rooted in actual American history (covered in a shiny, pretty, patriotic coat)... it was great :D.

True. the gameplay was alright. The story was AWESOME. I would like to shake the hands of those writers and tell them to make that in to a movie.

Okay I'm oldschool even old, but the thing is these games pretend to be as realistic as possible and they aren't even close.
For example I was a scout/sniper in the USMC. I have seen combat. I know the sounds, the smell, the temperature, the fear, the excitement, the exhaustion, everything that goes with it.
So they come out with these games that are suppose to be just like real combat with wild buzzword names that aren't even real.
Like 'HALO"!

It was a failed tactic tried in the 60s that never saw the light of day in real combat.
It's a very successful video game about "space marines"...yeah right.
Real combat has real fear. If you have ever rout stepped 20+ miles through rugged country afraid every next step would be your last, hot sweatty, hungry, dehydrated, mad, angry, pissed off, not knowing what the mission is, just following orders, waiting for a call on the SAT phone for further orders. And when you actually get in combat, trying to sight the enemy before they sight you, trying to gain fire superiority long enough to call in an airstrike, hoping you don't get popped before that happens. Hoping that you don't run out of ammo before the airstrike happens. Hoping you don't kill innocent noncombatants by mistake, and all the rest of it.
There is no way they can make a video game where you feel the pain of a round knocking you down and burning like everything. Your nerves aren't jumping for REAL in a video game. There is NO FUCKING CONSEQUENCE IN A VIDEO GAME!!!!
So I really don't get it.
Maybe I wouldn't be so against them if they would just stop lying about how real they are. They aren't real, they're superficial at best.

A buzzword. Just like "Call of Duty" or "Battlefield".

I guess they should have named them, "Pink Fluffy Shootie Poowie!" and "Playground!" instead, so as not to offend any military people. We also are going to have to change a shit load of movies imagery and names, and art dating back to... oh... pretty much the beginning of art, since it is just a shitty recreation of the real thing.
