Gamers? I play my own niche and keep up with all games in terms of information (when I'm not studying my usual 23 hours a day). Currently I'm playing Minecraft and want to get into Assassin's Creed IV...

... oh and I play Skyrim.... TALOS IS THE TRUE GOD OF MAN!!!

GrinningYMIR

I know I'm going to lose serious man points for this, but I got Long Live The Queen!

It's a fun little adventure game.  Every day, you change the character's mood slightly (which affects skills), learn two skills, go through a series of skill checks, and get finally presented with a dilemma or two.  Rinse and repeat.  It's a surprisingly enjoyable experience, though the mechanics are a bit tricky at first.  For $9, it's not bad at all.

I agree, for whatever reason I love Argonians in TES, especially Skyrim.

It was quite fun :3

No religion for me thank you very much; I 'm full of shit enough as it is.

Being flabbergasted about existence never made anyone disappear in a poof of flabbergas, so nevermind why we're here. We ARE here.

Just got Sins of a Solar Empire: Stellar Phenomena.  The stars sometimes spawn as pulsars or neutron stars or black holes, and they occasionally launch superweapon-like attacks at random planets.  And there are random events like economic downturns or upturns, but damned if I know what exactly those do.  There's also some sort of open rebellion event where a sizable rebel fleet - complete with a capital ship - appears out of nowhere.  I don't think this DLC really adds all that much relative to Forbidden Worlds, but I'll take it.

But the patching process wiped out my heavily-modified game files, so everything's at factory settings.  And unfortunately, the AI is noticeably moronic now.  They colonize with the colony frigates and never build a colony capital ship.  In a lot of maps (even random ones), they put all their money into a small fleet (no research, no planet development, no orbital buildings), take over a small string of planets, and ruin their own economies by not investing in any of their planets (unimproved planets are a drain on income), scuttling their extractors (talk about killing the goose that laid the golden eggs!), and endlessly picking losing battles in ever-distant territories.   #-o

By accident, I figured out that they have to have a few non-colonizable worlds nearby to fund their expansion (it's impossible to scuttle those extractors, so they're saved from their own stupidity), but they're still very slow about upgrading their planets and lose small fortunes from a combination of bad management and overly aggressive military action.  Hopefully, they'll patch that sometime.

And now I have to mod the whole thing all over again.

To-do list:
* make space mines less prolific
* make superweapon-turtling less viable
* make the Vasari research tree suck less
* make Vasari special abilities suck less
* cure cancer
