Glenn Beck plans to break damaging political news....

What do you call giving the details of the breaking news you're going to announce later?  (I think that's called breaking the news).  Maybe this is the preliminary breaking news for the real breaking later on.  But won't that tip off Rush Limbaugh who will now break the news and steal Beck's scoop?  It's kind of weird tactic, if you ask me.  By the time Beck gets around to this, it will be yesterday's news, and no one will give a rat's patoot.
