How can you say "constant chemical reactions taking place on its surface" when, in fact, the chemical reaction is taking place inside the sun, not on it's surface.

Maybe the sun (which will not "expire"), but will "self destruct" in some 5 billion years which is meaningless since no will be around to see it.

Actually I'm wondering if the day the sun "expires" will be the day Jesus returns.
