If I would have done that to a customer, singled him out for a talking to, I likely would be fired.

That kind of behavior would be considered, by my boss, as unprofessional.

The primary output of humanity is shit and piss ... what could possibly be the result?

Let's not forget bitterness, regret, sweat, gas, baby butter, in some cases milk and verbal diarrhea.

If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. I will now inaugurate myself as a member of the Repube Party by reciting the Repube Pledge:

"I pledge allegiance to the flag of the Confederate States of Murica, and to the Republicans for which it stands, one nation under Jesus, divisible, with liberty and justice for some. Amen."

Now let's go and shoot us some minorities! And tax the poor! Round up and "deport" (wink wink!) the Meskins and the Mooslims! Poison the rivers! Pave the forests! Constitution? Who needs that when we have the BIBBLE! Let's go take away some FREEDOM!!

"Would you like to send our colored cousins home again, my friend? All you have to do is follow the worms!"

What I find amusing, in a cynical way, I've mentioned him before, a gay porn star I use to enjoy, Colby Keller, who said publicly that he voted for trump, and his reason was because he felt having trump as president would shake the foundation of American culture so much that it would cause only positive effects with the president after him.

QuoteI’m going to vote for Trump! I think he’s a destabilizing force. I’m skeptical of him, too, and who exactly is behind Trump. But given that there’s eternal dissent in the Republican Party, that leads me to believe that whatever he represents might be a destabilizing force. And he’s made a lot of overtures to Russia and China, which in some ways could be thought of as an encouraging thing. I don’t support or endorse any of Trump’s policies. I just think it’ll escalate the problem, which is the best we can hope for. I hope at the very least he’d turn the White House into a reality show. America would tune in, right? And then he could do something nice, like give the money to the National Park Service, because they’re trying to defund it.

But, the thing I'm thinking now is, why would the American culture that seemed to be doing pretty well in the last 8 year need to be destabilized? It was actually going somewhere, and while the growth of extreme left wing sjw/feminazi/blm has been a problem, it wasn't as bad as what the republicans under trump intend to now set back because of their position to do so. If anything, it will cause those authoritarian left extreme groups to act even more irrational because of it.

The arrogance of a gay white guy saying this, when he won't be feeling the pinch it will cause just really put me off liking the guy.

No logic whatsoever.

Thanks for the info, though I'm not sure he threw off the scent about his appointments.  I didn't notice much of a dip in coverage there.  And of course, the real fireworks is going to be when he tries to formally appoint these people.

Trump can have any cabinet members he wants, as long as they are related to the Bush clan, the Cheney clan and the Rove clan ;-)

So....

does any one know where I can find an abandon underground bunker? I'm almost homeless now so I was thinking I could just move into one of those and then when the Apocalypse comes I'll be the president of the bunker. Or queen which ever I decide sounds better. I will start squirling away food and resources now so that I'm heavily stocked and prepared when the time comes. All of you are invited. Just tell the guards you know doorknob or neyamiko and they'll fetch me so I can let you in.

Well I have to find the bunker first so.....

By attacking cultural elites on Sunday, Donald Trump managed to shift attention from his multi-million dollar fraud settlement and his controversial selections for his administration. ...

Trump will continue to harp on SNL and Hamilton for as long as people are paying attention. Trump will seize on dispatches from the culture wars that further the notion that this country consists of a salt of the earth cheated white us versus a snotty, wealthy, coddled urban dwelling them. The source of Trump’s faux-populist smokescreen rage won’t be Hamilton next time; maybe it will be the Oscars, or the Emmys, or the Tony awards. Maybe it will be a thousand dollar a plate fundraiser, or the White House correspondents’ dinner, or the Met ball. And it will serve the same function then as it does now: a way to keep the public focused on issues that froth up Trump’s base, and a way to keep what’s really concerning about Trump’s leadership buried beneath a layer of petty bullshit.

If we on the coasts are so smart, we should know better than to keep falling for it.

I don't understand how that could work. That being said, I've been astonished how much of Trump's idiocy has been effective to this point.

Yesterday I heard Trump was considering appointing Jerry Falwell as secretary of education, and I find that kind of thing much, much more concerning then any of Trump's childish antics.

Door-in-the-face technique?  Make an extreme request and then when it's turned down, make a less extreme request that will more likely to be viewed as reasonable and accepted.  It's like putting $200 jeans on "sale" at $75.  Either price is idiotic, but the buyer feels better about the purchase because he/she avoided the outrageous original price.

I despise Trump personally.  I fear his Presidency.  But I am going to wait to see what he actually DOES before taking to the street...
