Women were always involved in war just not in the same ways men were. They ended up being some of the best spy's!

Also fun fact women were the one's working on computer technology while the men went to war. And they took many other important jobs that were considered to be men's work. I think this is partly why women started demanding equality they found out they could do many of the same jobs that men could.
