my subconscious just started writing a new college humor sketch.

"Hey, are you over sexed?" *Sad face* "Have trouble controlling your sexual urges?" *man takes a hammer to his junk at work* "Well then you need our patented guarantee to stop those uncontrolled peaks, CHILDREN!"
"Yes with children, your never have a sexual urge every again, because if you do, we're accuse you of pedophilia :D"

.. is it strange that college humor is so predictable now anyone can write their own sketches at random?

One thing that I regret about Christianity, is a particular petite little blue-eyed blonde girl, who wanted to have sex with me, and I denied myself the pleasure, for the sake of a promise I had made to God. But even my fanatical Christianity generally didn't keep me, as a teenager, from having sex with my previous girlfriend whenever and wherever I could. But we used both the pill for her, and rubbers (usually) for me. We were very careful. But we never learned about birth control in school. I was educated by my peers, and by a stolen copy of OUI!, a men's adult magazine, about all the non-clinical stuff of sex. She was put on birth control by a smart doctor.

When we had sex ed in middle school (this was Georgia, mind you),  It took two or three days for an hour of each day. The lady doing the presentation told us that her cousin was a proctologist and the gay men that came in all had distended or prolapsed anuses, and "a man's penis is not supposed to go in there." This is the same class where they show you all the STDs in order to scare you away from sexual contact with anyone, ever.

Amusingly, the day they talked about male reproductive organs, lunch was corn dogs, and the next day when we had a discussion about lady parts, lunch was Hot Pockets.

Sex ed when I was in school was the gym teacher standing there in front of a room full of teenage boys sweating profusely describing how to remove a bra with one hand..  Ahhh..the good old days..

It was a long time ago for me as well. I had my first sex-ed class in sixth grade, 38 years ago. It was very clinical. I wonder what they teach now, at that school. Or in the high school, for that matter.

Abstinance is the norm in traditional Indian gyms (Akharas). The Monkey God Hanuman (himself a celebate) is supposed to be very angry with trainees who do not observe 'Brahmacharya' and will not make their efforts successful. It did work. The key, give them something else to do, keep them occupied.

Were these people never teenagers?  And even as a 17 - 18 year old I had one hell of a time trying to keep up with a church deacon's daughter.

I think abstinence only is just a way for repressed Christians to cope with their sexual insecurites - when the truth is they're involuntarily abstinent
