No, humans reproduce like rats. If you want to attack the ideas and claims in Islam fine, it certainly is the root cause of oppression in the middle east, but the cure isn't treating fellow humans as a sub species, the cure is good economics and empowerment of women.

The uneducated and poor Christians in Africa can be just as barbaric and oppressive as Islam. Look up "The Lord's Resistance Army". And our asshole right wing Christians missionaries convinced African nations do pass laws having gays arrested and even threatened with the death penalty.

Attack ideas and claims and certainly Islam is and Idea and claim, but humans are not rats.

Maybe I should say they are popping children like rabbits ? I'm not saying humans are rats or rabbits. Only that they have huge reproductive rates.    I hate the Islam religion with passion but I don't have anything against Muslims as persons. The reason many Muslims have tons of children is because they are following to the letter their crazy beliefs .  The catholic church has  the same crazy beliefs about contraception and kids. In the past many catholics  have huge families  because of this. Today many  young catholics ignore the church crazy  teachings  about birth control.  I can't stand Islam stupid beliefs but  again I don't have anything against Muslims as persons . I'm aware millions of Muslims worldwide are good people despite their beliefs.  Humans in general  in many countries are breeding like " rabbits " . They are having too many kids.

As long as bad shit happens to good people there will always be someone willing to sell them on the notion that there's a magician in the sky willing to make it all better. There's no shortage of bad shit happening.
