A little bit about me: I've been atheist for about a year, and I love it. It's been so mentally liberating and intellectually gratifying that I can't help but feel a deep passionate hatred for childhood indoctrination (which I'm a bit too familiar with).

But I'm not exactly here to passionately fight religion. I love forums... but my favorite has a highly conservative, religious atmosphere, and it can get really tiring. I'm trying to find somewhere else to enjoy my free-time, and I figured I might give this place a shot. :)

I'm a college freshman with a crazy schedule, so it's equally likely that I'll be on during the day as night.

What else? I'm a dog person. I love to write. I'm afraid of being trapped. I'm an avid runner (5 and 10K).

So... that's me!

Welcome.  Don't love dogs, but we love our furry children!  Currently have two rescue 'furry children'--a Sheppard and a Chi/terrier.
