Hello everyone, my name is Andrew, my middle name is Neal, and that's what I prefer to go by. I'm 18 years old, and was born in Oklahoma. My entire family is hardcore christian, assembly of God to be precise. I was always very curious about everything growing up. Constantly wondering how things worked. I was diagnosed with ADHD when I was about 8, but I don't take medication for it. I've found ways within my mind to control it. My mother and father got divorced when I was about 9 years old, and ever since then I have moved from house to house because my mother could not handle such a financial responsibility all on her own, and decided to let her imaginary friend handle her problems. She then married the laziest man I have ever met, he has lost jobs over, and over causing us to move more. I also have three younger siblings. Two brothers, and a sister. For the longest time I struggled in school. Almost two years ago I finally realized that there's no God. At first it was scary, and I was a bit tentative about what I had just said to myself, but I finally understood what the big bang was, I understood all the evidence against a deity, and pointing towards evolution. I looked at all the natural disasters in the world. I finally came to the ultimate conclusion that there isn't a God. Ever since then I have loved science, and math. I have gotten advanced scores on my end of instruction exams for the past two years. My ADHD still gets in the way from time to time when I attempt to comprehend things. I still struggle with learning but I'm doing much better. My plans are to become a Mechanical Engineer, and then get the hell out of Oklahoma. So I decided to join the forums and hope to learn from fellow atheists. I hope to expand my knowledge, and increase my capacity to learn. I am much happier now, I just need to catch up on all the science that I didn't care about when I was younger. So any and all tips are welcomed.

Festive cheer does not help much.
What is this, "Justice?"
