In case you don't know what ratfucking is real quick it's when one political party gets the other party to vote for the weakest primary opponent.  Clair McCaskill ratfucked rubes back when Todd Aiken referred to 'legitimate rape'. Nixon though, (as in Richard) was the original ratfucker. Here's how it works.

Uh, except per all the discussion in that diary and the other one it spun off, this is *not* the usual definition of ratfucking. The usual definition means *really* dirty politics, illegal stuff, unethical, reprehensible, not the kind of stuff one talks about openly, stuff that if made public would backfire against the candidate who does it.

Not something one would want to crow about, let alone to publicly advise one's own party to use.
