Got to thank the bible reloaded guys for this one I didn't see this one coming.

Everyone knows Ben Stein, the guy with that very droning, lethargic voice you recognise the same as you would Gilbert Gottfried or Tim Curry, I even remember him from one of my fav animaniacs episodes as Francis "Pip" Pumphandle, where his voice drones on and on having the warner brothers and sister nearly killing themselves over it.

Anyway, seems like Stein and his angelic voice has thrown his lot in with creationism, but not just becoming a creationist, but being a writer for this movie in trying to claim that anyone against intelligent design being forced put forward in schools is on par with Nazism.

So there you have it, much like kevin sorbo and kirk cameron, yet another sub par actor or comedian coming out and siding with the the 'soo oppressed' Christians of america.

That's been out for awhile.  I never saw it.  I enjoyed the review, however.

And yet the power of the creationist is still there to make this movie just as infuriating as it was the day it hit theaters.

argh...I need to go look at pictures of puppies and kittens and cute babies or something, because I'm just pissed off today!

The review is good though, pretty funny actually.  But the movie...old though it may be.....Yes, Hijiri's sig is about how I feel right now.

Solitary

A typical Christian God-of-the gaps arguments in the movie, with no evidence, but God supplies all the answers. It has all the fallacies and Slick Maneuvers in logic that a propaganda film is all about. Everything in the universe is composed of particles, even living things, so why is it so hard to believe life started from them? Even if the Christian God did it, what is he made of? Solitary
There is nothing more frightful than ignorance in action.

Atheon

Yeah, I used to think Ben Stein was actually a smart guy. By putting out this movie, he showed the world he's actually dumb as rocks.

maybe…maybe…I wonder how his bank account was affected. Don't think a good ole jew won't laugh at how easy it is to make money of the gentiles.

Just to put shit in perspective, Ben Stein used to be a speech writer for Richard Nixon. Kind of identifies him politically. Also odd, considering the fact that Nixon was a known Jew hater.

Nixon was a politician first, so that means his ethics were situational.

"Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed" was the trigger that turned me from an apathist to an atheist.
We 'new atheists' have a reputation for being militant, but make no mistake  we didn't start this war. If you want to place blame put it on the the religious zealots who have been poisoning the minds of the  young for a long long time."

Poison Tree

My senior year at a christian run college I took a class on "origins", of which I'd estimate 10% was watching this shitty movie. It--the class as a whole and Expelled specifically--helped me see just how weak the argument for creationism actually are and, ultimately, helped push me down the road towards atheism.
