Welcome aboard Sinead Mc Namara! My wife's last name is McIntyre, but she is from the USA, and thinks the same as you and is Catholic. I worked in Ireland for 5 weeks and loved it there. For some reason when I told them my name was William they treated me like a rock star. It was weird when I got there because I felt like I was coming back home. I had a girl ask me if I wanted some caca (spelling?), I was taken aback because it's slang for poop here.  I was in Dublin, and hate Guinness, but Harps lager is great. Stay around, I'm not the only crazy one here. I was there during the mad cow disease and missed the Saint Patricks Day parade.  :pidu: Solitary

We're becoming more of an international community. Primarily the US, but we've got contributors from England, Scotland, Italy, the Netherlands, Canada and now Germany. Always love to meet people with different situations and different ideas and questions.
And Switzerland... ;)

So does your baby take the morning train and work from 9 to 5?
All hail my new signature!

Admit it. You're secretly green with envy.

Thank you everyone.

I am trying to figure out what she meant by caca LOL

I think cake maybe.

We have many "conversion" stories on here- mine included, I was once a Mormon Elder-and we love to learn about your journey and where you are on it. Mine is pretty long, as are some others. Don't be afraid to open up a bit- as you see we have hurting people on here who use the forum as a community to rant and get support. And we are glad to give it.

(edit) caca is Mexican/Hispanic for excrement.

I met some of the mormon elders while living in Ireland.  Lovely lads to be honest.  I had to admire their zest and passion and they were gentle and not trying to convert me.  I gave them lemonade and chocolate and they were delighted :-)

Oh yeah cake is ciste.

Maybe she was trying to be kinky ;-)

I thought I had the monopoly on rampant insanity here!

I tried kinky once, not going that route again *shivers*

Welcome to our little band of heathens. Don't worry, you'll fit in; we're all heathens to some.
