Hi All! I'm making this introduction thread to avoid being mistaken for a spambot or street preacher.

I am an agnostic atheist. I can't prove that god doesn't exist, but I see no good reason to believe in one. You can also mark me down as an apatheist, ignostic, pagan, heathen, or infidel.

Since that's about the least interesting thing that you can know about me, I'm also a geologist and an educator. I've personally dated rocks that were a smidge over 2.9 billion years old. My interests include just about anything science-related, especially cool stuff in space, hiking, snorkeling, and raising carnivorous plants. I'm located in Eastern Canada. My avatar is the bumblehog, the better-looking cousin of the crocoduck.
