QuoteIn this video, we will talk about new visual evidence of the existence of the blackhole in the middle of the Milky Way galaxy known as Sagittarius A*

Detection of orbital motions near the last stable circular orbit of the
massive black hole SgrA*

I don't think many astrophysicists doubted the existence of this black hole, but it's nice to get confirmation.

Report URL fails.  The video is good.  This is probably what they are talking about having evidence of ...

There is a zone where you can't not spiral into the black hole.  But besides that, there is a zone where you can't not orbit the black hole.  This is the ergosphere.

This article shows the various zones of rotation black holes.  It is more complicated than the simplistic non-rotating black hole model most people are familiar with.

It is nice to have "another" line of evidence to support the existence of Sagittarius A, but the claim made in the video that this was the first observational evidence is incorrect. Scientists at UCLA and the Max Planck Institute have been tracking the orbits of several stars around Sagittarius A for more than two decades. That's long enough to track S0-2 for more than 2 full orbits and calculate the orbits of S0-16 and S0-19 with a high degree of certainty. Those orbits can't be explained by anything but a supermassive black hole.

May be they mean the first detailed observation? Because I saw other links.

No, scientists have to talk like Trump about their current brain child ... to get more funding.

It seems there may be a whole swarm of black holes near the galactic center:
