I liked the Greek pizza from Red Brick... ham, red onions, kalamata olives, pepperoncinis, mozzarella, feta, EVO garlic sauce on a traditional brick oven cooked pizza. Mmmhmm.

I've never been to one of those weekly pizza buffets that offered decent pizza, even if the restaurant's regular pizza is pretty good.  Every one I've been to is like the restaurant goes out of it's way to make low end pizza on that night so you won't eat too much.  I'd just as soon order the regular pizza off the menu and choose what I want.

Deep Dish pizza is not pizza!

Years ago, I always ordered sausage and mushroom.  Now I get the Pizza Supreme.  I don't know why.   :-D

To be honest, I have searched the Chronicles and have found nowhere that His Holiness the FSM officially bans pineapple. Therefore I cannot declare it as banned.

I think the biggest problem is like some other people said, deep dish pizza isn't even pizza. If you need to use a spoon to eat a pizza, it's not a pizza.

I've had a LOT of good pizza, with all different toppings. Regular cheese, white pizza, buffalo chicken pizza, pineapple and ham pizza, artichoke pizza, sicilian bruchetta pizza... etc.

What do they have in common (other than being pure delight to the tastebuds)?

They don't involve eating it with a spoon. A chicago deep dish pizza is basically an italian style pot pie with no top crust. It's not a pizza. And I will fight anyone that says otherwise.

So I guess I am one of the 3 people that voted deep dish. I became a believer after I had some in Chicago.
It's not so much that I want DEEP dish, I just can't stand a thin crust. I want the crust to be part of the overall experience, so in the absence of the middle road I'd rather have deep dish. I usually go for medium crust.
