Maybe the assignment was measuring where the kids fit on the Winslow Depravity Scale.  The school is just trying to see how deep their minds are into the gutter.  The scores will be placed in the students' permanent records, so teachers can discuss them in the lunch room.

It's called critical thinking. I have 3 elementary aged kids, and I wouldn't blink at this assignment. I do homework with my kids every day, (except friday, saturday, and sunday, because they don't have any.) My kids' school is great. They don't teach to the test, as so many do, but teach kids to be well rounded, functioning people.
