I'm willing to deal with some bugs from games as big and open ended as The Elder Scrolls, as long as the game is still fun. Hell, sometimes the bugs are part of the charm. When the game lacks any soul, however, like with Starfield, then the bugs are just an annoyance.

I mean, I like some older stuff.  Everyone does.  I don't think it's reasonable to rope stuff off in either direction.

What does bother me is there was a similar facepalm image about someone upset that a t-shirt design they didn't like was "ruining" the Nirvana brand (as if it were a clothing line and not a music group). Maybe they meant it as a joke?

Not much difference offline, tbh.  Though I've found that people are much more true to self online.  For some people, that's great.  For some people, well, they need better role models.
