"Oh, wearisome condition of humanity,
Born under one law, to another bound;
Vainly begot, and yet forbidden vanity,
Created sick, commanded to be sound."

Quote from: Mike Cl on December 09, 2022, 10:24:09 PMAlmost anywhere is better than Mississippi! Or Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, Arkansas, Florida---well, the South. The best way to visit Texas is to drive right through it. But then, maga is everywhere. You are young. If I were your age I would consider moving out of country. But do research. What skills do you have that another country might use? Are you willing to learn another language and set of customs? Both of my grandparents on my mother's side was from Sweden and my mom kept in contact with quite a few of our relatives still in Sweden. I would go there because of my roots and ready made connections. But I'm way to old to do that now. Something to think about.

Oh, speaking of learning a different language, I am trying to learn some Japanese. I only know a little bit of Japanese so far, but it's a start.

I want to start off by doing fan-translations of Japanese video games and then move on to more professional translations later down the road.

I don't know. Texas ended the institution of marriage to try to prevent gay marriage. But then, there is the whole birthday Florida man meme.

Must be the heat.

Could be the combo of heat and humidity. But then, it must have always been the case--remember the Florida orange juice commercial lady (used that term loosely--she ended up being a cunt) Anita Bryant? Very anti-gay and not afraid to let us know. That was in the 70's I think.
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able?
Then he is not omnipotent,
Is he able but not willing?
Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able or willing?
Then why call him god?
