JWST Discovers Photochemistry On an Exoplanet

The short of it; by finding Sulfur Dioxide, a product of photochemistry - in this case, water atoms being split apart by sunlight and forming new compounds & a process that results in our ozone layer - it has allowed us to understand some of these upper atmospheric processes on exoplanets as well as perhaps start to better understand exactly how our own gas giants actually formed.

Also just (hopefully) shows that an ozone world is common in space, providing protection for any potential life that might arise.
