I'll show it to my sister in law, she is part navajo.

Quote from: drunkenshoe on November 12, 2022, 12:56:33 AMWe've just had this 'where to go when in first US visit' convo with a friend yesterday, lol. He's planning to make a visit on the Appalachian Trail -not all of it, it's over 3200 something km-, and I'm always in with the Grand Canyon.
Both are excellent choices.  America has a lot of great natural beauty.

For NC, I'd recommend the Outer Banks (coastal islands), the USS NC in Wilmington, some museums in Raleigh (art, history, science), an actual pig pickin' anywhere you can find it, and the Blue Ridge Parkway, especially during autumn.

Edit - forgot Morehead planetarium, Grandfather Mountain (hope you have no fear of heights), and Sliding Rock (natural waterslide formed from water eroding rock for a very, very long time)

Quote from: Gawdzilla Sama on November 11, 2022, 08:34:49 AMWell, we don't have a grand canyon in St. Louis, but we do have Archie.

I was actually there once, on my way to somewhere else, I think San Francisco.

That's the best reaction I've got yet. LOL

I don't say that--but I don't like liver or opera.

I'll take the liver and opera, after sharing onions and metal with Hydra. :)
