Movies You'd Want to See Made

Ever had an idea for a movie you wish would be made? Share them here, whether they're cool, weird, or stupid ideas.

I'll start. I was playing the TMNT game "Shredder's Revenge" recently, when I realized how the TMNT characters really don't make sense outside of the context of the 80's/90's era they originated in, and yet they keep getting rebooted anyway. They don't even update their lingo much, to make them talk like modern teenagers.

And then that train of thought led me to a funny idea. What if they made a third sequel to the 1990's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" movie?

"There were three of them?"

Yes. But take it from me, don't watch the third one. It's awful. Not even a funny kind of awful. Just boring.

So in this theoretical TMNT 4, the "Teenage" part of their name would be scratched out, because it takes place in the modern year. Now they're Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles. They still run around, saving people, but now kids think they're lame, because they still say things like "cowabunga" and "mondo."

The main villain would be Slash, a younger, more powerful turtle who serves and trains under Shredder. He's gone through a lot of different incarnations, although he usually ends up becoming an independent anti-hero by the end (spoilers). The movie would also feature the Mighty Mutanimals, as a younger generation of mutant super heroes for the turtles to team up with.

Oh, yeah, and Splinter is dead. He was already ancient in the first movie, so no way he's still alive for this one. lol

Born under one law, to another bound;
Vainly begot, and yet forbidden vanity,
Created sick, commanded to be sound."

Stranger in a Strange Land. as a mini series.

They'll need to bring a lot of people back to life to make it.

That would be fantastic!!

But what about "Stranger Things in a Strange Land"?

And it is harder to get any stranger than this land that I used to call my country; and I no longer grok it (probably never really did).

Valentine Michael Smith was a grok star.

Forgotten Realms, Salvatore's The Dark Elf trilogy. It should be series, of course.

I've started to read them again a while ago. Even though it's always been a much beloved series, I think it's still underrated. I've first read them like 20 years ago, but now visiting Menzoberranzan again after all time, it's astonishing how much of real human culture is there. Yikes.

I don't really know about Dungeons and Dragons. You think it's bad? It looks standard, but then isn't D&D the very beginning, the end and the standard of all this? LOL. I didn't get the displacer comment.

Mr.Obvious

Movie pitch: guy is brought up in the jehovah´s witness´ Church.
He loses his faith and struggles to keep up appearances to the cult, all the while trying to seem normal to his new circle of confidants.

Could be played a a gutwrenching drama about the effects of getting shunned and losing your entire network.
Or as a slapstick comedy showing the ridiculous bullshit our hero has to perform to seem normal to either side.

Haven´t decided.
