Oh, Mill Creek. I have, like,... nine of those boxes.

Some Mill Creek, some very like.

Big Bug Movies were a hit in the '50s. "THEM!" is the most rational of the lot, with "The Giant Claw" trailing way behind.

Enter "50 movies dvd collection" in Amazon's search window and you're on your way to wasting a huge amount of time. We watched "Teenagers from Outer Space" last night.

BTW, there will be some overlap in the boxed set. Getting fifty movies for $17.99 makes that painless.
Like I said, "Those old movies come cheap."  I bought a series of the original Frankenstein Classics.  I was excited and it was fun for a while, but then I couldn't wait to finish them.  Movies have come a long way since the "Talkies."

Boss Lady and I provide additional dialog when the characters on the screen aren't saying anything. We frequently have to rewind up to five minutes to get back to the plot.

Many a year ago….my girlfriend and would on occasion pick up a cheesy porn and turn the volumn off, do a little weed and some drink and make up our own lines…..gotta tell ya….hell of a lot of laughter on those nights.

We don't need the weed.

3 from Hell. It’s a Rob Zombie movie. Got it on Amazon for 3 bucks so I said fuck it and bought it. If I were to give it a Rotten Tomatoes score I’d give it a 50%. It’s definitely low budget but the made do O.K. Probably why I was able to buy it for 3 bucks.

The scenes of the Airborne divisions embarking and dropping into Holland are epic! How did I miss seeing this 1977 flick... I do not know

Yep that's the one. It is a freebie on YT. Some of the later battle scenes seem a bit wonky.

I liked the Polish colonel who kept trying to find out which side the planning officer was on.

Ghostbusters Afterlife.

This one didn't receive the highest accolades from Rotten Tomatoes, although I enjoyed it more than the others.  I never thought any of the previous movies lived up to all the hype and acclaim they received, but I laughed out loud a lot in this one, and I enjoyed the characters more, even though they weren't such important Hollywood icons of the first two movies.  I'd give it a 7 or 8.

The Green Lantern 2011 Ryan Reynolds
I think I remember being unimpressed, but damn, I couldn't remember a thing about it, but watching it tonight, I liked it quite a bit.  Maybe back in 2011, we weren't acclimated to the superhero genre yet.  It was put out by DC rather than Marvel too.  I just looked it up on Rotten Tomatoes and they stiffed it pretty bad.  Maybe with Marvel out of the picture, or maybe just taking a nap, or maybe with Disney not sure what to do with Marvel, it just seemed refreshing.  Or maybe I've just been needing an injection of superhero stuff.

Is it Lantern or Lantren? Both sound wrong.

When I google "Green Lan"..., it anticipates "Lantern".  I don't trust the internet on many things, but it's pretty good at spelling.  My spelling is horrible.  It always has been, I have a blind spot in that part of my intelligence, and I can't fix it.
